Taco Eating Contest

One of Kenny's friends recently entered an eating contest to scratch a line off of his bucket list. Well, it turns out he did really good and kind of got bit by the eating contest bug. He wanted to enter this group contest and asked Kenny and two of their other friends to do it with him. They didn't end up winning but they were right up there with the top teams. We all had such a great time cheering them on. I just hope Kenny doesn't want to add eating contests to his long list of hobbies.

Fun in the Sun

Thanks to our ward pool days we have been having a lot of fun swimming (well, it's more like floating) and hanging out with friends.

New Discoveries

So someone has discovered his tongue. He loves to twist it around in his mouth and sticks it out all the time. Nothing can pass by his mouth without him trying to lick it...poopy clothes and all.

My sneaky little guy

When Kade was 8 weeks old he started rolling over from his stomach to his back. We couldn't even give him tummy time because he would flip over the second we set him down. The doctor thought it was amazing especially since he was a preemie. But once he got chunky (around 3 months old) he could no longer flip over. His belly was so fat he couldn't get his legs or feet on the ground for leverage.So everyday I put him on his tummy and try to get him to roll over. I intice him with toys but nothing works. Then yesterday, I set him on his tummy and ran to the kitchen to grab something. To my surprise he was laying on his back when I came back into the room! I have no idea how he did it. I set him back on his tummy and told him to show me what he did but he wouldn't budge. As of this morning he has yet to do it again. He's such a sneaky little guy.

Is it so wrong?

Is it so wrong to want your baby to be sad for just a second? His sad face is so darn cute!

Shocked

I wonder how I would feel to think that I was sitting up for the first time in my life? My guess is shocked. :)
