Pregnancy Pics

Everything has been progressing smoothly. I am 34 weeks pregnant with only 6 more weeks to go! I can't believe it. My very talented friend, Crystal, took some pregnancy pictures for us. Here are a few of them.

Fall is Here!

I have decided it's officially fall in Southern California. I was so excited about the cooler weather all I wanted to do was bake. And although I didn't end up doing any baking, I did make yummy homemade caramel apples.

I had left over caramel so I poured it over some popcorn. It turned out great!

It's a boy!

We had our ultrasound yesterday and found out we are having a boy! The nurse said he is very active but that I probably won't feel him every day. I assured her that I in fact do feel him every day. :) This Sunday I finally caught Kenny when he was patient enough to sit with his hand on my belly and he was able to feel the baby too! ( I think I had Kenny's cold to thank for the patience.)

I'm back...

I am finally back to the land of the living. These past few months have been really hard but I am finally feeling better! Here's a summary of what we've been up to since March. (I can't believe it's been that long).

Utah

We took a road trip to Orem for my cousin Chad's wedding. My Aunt Norma did an amazing job decorating the church. The sad thing is I have no pictures of Chad and his beautiful wife Katie. I do have this picture of me with my mom, Aunt Sharon, and cousin Kristen.

Boston

In June my dad, Kenny, and I went to Boston to visit my Grandma. In all the years Kenny and I have been together he's never met my grandma so it was fun to have him meet her in person. She is definitely a character.

Here we are in her front yard. Kenny couldn't believe how green everything was.

The highlight of our trip was our drive to Maine. We walked along the water and looked at all the cute beach houses. Here's a picture of a lighthouse.

We also spent time in the city of Boston. We took this duck boat tour. The kind that goes on the land and in the sea. That was really fun and a good way to see they city.

I'm Pregnant!

And best of all I'm pregnant! Everything is going well so far. We find out what we're having on September 1st. I can't wait. Here's a picture to prove that I'm showing since no one seems to believe me. This was taken about 2 1/2 weeks ago when I was 4 months pregnant.

Redlands Temple

We went to the Redlands Temple for the first time last weekend. The two missionaries that baptized Kenny were doing baptisms there and we couldn't pass up the chance to see them. It was such an awesome experience to be there with our two favorite missionaries in the temple.

Here we are in front of the fountain. It symbolizes Heavenly Father at the top, the First Presidency in the middle, and the Quorom of the Twelve on the bottom. Pretty cool, huh?

Sammy's House

Sammy's House is my new favorite book. I first read a book by Kristen Gore a couple of years ago and fell in love with her style of writing. It was titled Sammy's Hill. Once I finished it I couldn't wait for her to come out with another book. She is very witty and I often find myself laughing out loud. So, for anyone looking for a great read, Sammy's Hill and Sammy's House are both a must!

Kenny goes to Yoga!

Getting Kenny to go to yoga was like trying to get a cat to take a bath. I have been begging him to go with me for about 6 months now and finally he consented...sort of. Here is a picture of the happy boy headed into the gym with my yoga mat.

He actually did surprisingly well, with a smile on his face to boot. Unfortunately, he hurt his back going into full camel...I don't think he will be going to yoga with me again.

Glamis

Here are some pics from our recent trip to Glamis.

This is a picture of us at our camp.

These pictures are from the drag races at Gecko. It was really cool to go and watch all the buggies and quads race but the ride to get there was a little nerve wracking.

That's our friends buggy at the drags. Riding with him is a lot of fun, even though I get so scared I have to close my eyes. :)
