I recently finished a couple of great books that I highly recommend.

Loving Frank is riveting novel from start to finish! It's made up of both fact and fiction about the affair between Mamah Cheney and Frank Lloyd Wright. Their affair was a scandal that rocked Chicago in the early 1900's. This book not only gives you incite into the eccentric and egotistical life of Frank Lloyd Wright but it also tells the story of Mamah, a woman way ahead of her time, and the great influence she had on him.




Set in the circus world of the 1930's, Water for Elephants takes you on a crazy ride as one young man discovers love. This books gives you a glimpse of the very private circus society with it's own laws and language with a storyline that is hard to tear yourself away from.

Kade is 6 months old!

My neighbor took these great pictures of Kaden. He's such a good boy because he chose his picture day to be the day he would start sitting up by himself. :)

Master Roller

Kade has finally mastered rolling over. The second we lay him down he flips over onto his belly.

Taco Eating Contest

One of Kenny's friends recently entered an eating contest to scratch a line off of his bucket list. Well, it turns out he did really good and kind of got bit by the eating contest bug. He wanted to enter this group contest and asked Kenny and two of their other friends to do it with him. They didn't end up winning but they were right up there with the top teams. We all had such a great time cheering them on. I just hope Kenny doesn't want to add eating contests to his long list of hobbies.

Fun in the Sun

Thanks to our ward pool days we have been having a lot of fun swimming (well, it's more like floating) and hanging out with friends.
